Robert "Bob" Edwards, 75, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, April 10, 2026 at his home in Mount Airy, MD.

Born on July 12, 1950, in Takoma Park, MD, he was the son of the late Kip and Mary (Blandford) Edwards.

He attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School from elementary all the way through high school. Bob then opened a foreign auto parts store he named Metro IAP.

Bob will be missed by his wife of 55 years, Robin Edwards; his children and their spouses, Adrianne Edwards and Jim Frey, Jacob Edwards and Michele Edwards, Damien Edwards and Gina Edwards, and Jessica Conley; his grandchildren, Dalilah, Taylor, Ethan, Colin, Jacob, Jr., Jenna, Cameron, and Tyler; grand dog, Saffron; and his three cats, Wookie, Cosmo, and Mico.

Bob enjoyed reading, cars, and woodworking. He had a passion for cars, but, most of all, telling jokes.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 18th at 13502 Penn Shop Road in Mt. Airy.
