Robert Samuel Stansberry, 62, passed away on January 19, 2026, in Frederick, Maryland. Born on June 8, 1963, in Philippi, West Virginia, Robert lived a life rooted in faith, family, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
A man of Christian faith, Robert was a devoted member of Deep Water Tabernacle. He lived each day grounded in his belief in God's grace, approaching life with gratitude and humility. His spiritual convictions were not only a personal compass but also a source of strength and comfort to those around him.
Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who built his life around his family. His presence was a constant source of support and compassion through every chapter of their lives. He is survived by his beloved wife Lisa Stansberry; his daughter Avery Leo and her husband Chris Leo; his son Ethan Stansberry and his wife Kayla Stansberry; step-daughters Amanda Small and Ally Bettencourt; step-sons Joshua Small and Joseph Bettencourt; and his cherished grandchildren Sammie, Reagan, and Langston Stansberry, as well as Ashton, Cole, and Cora Leo.
He is also remembered by his brothers Kevin Stansberry, Greg Stansberry, and David Stansberry. Robert was preceded in death by his first wife Rebekah Stansberry, his father David Stansberry, and his mother Betty Stansberry.
Robert's legacy is one of steadfast love and quiet strength. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
