Roland Edward Weller

Roland Edward Weller, 89, of Frederick, MD passed away on July 1. He was born on March 11, 1936 in Thurmont, MD to the late Merhl and Floretta (Eyler) Weller.

Roland is survived by Patsy, his wife of 68 years. In addition, he is survived by his children Angie Harpster (Steve), Stacey Marlow (Bob) and Jennifer and grandchildren Rachel Hanna-Marlow (Laura) and Sarah Hochreiter (RJ).

Roland was a kind man who would do anything for anyone. He had a great sense of humor and was quick to laugh. In earlier years he enjoyed bowling and hunting. He was employed by American Optical for 25 years and retired from Frederick County Public Schools after 30 plus years of service.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Mount Olivet Cemetery 515 S. Market Street, Frederick, MD in the Mausoleum Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
