Ronald Eric "Ronnie" Summers, age 64, of 57-R Ridge Road, Greenbelt, MD, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, MD.
Born Nov. 7, 1943 in Washington, DC, he was a son of Lillian Moyers Summers of Harrisonburg, VA, and the late Paul D. Summers.
He was a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha G. Bussard Summers, whom he married Aug. 2, 1963; one son, Jeffrey S. Summers of Boonsboro; one daughter, Cynthia L. Kasza of Westminster, MD; one sister, Tami Lamb of Harrisonburg; one brother, Gary Summers of Harrisonburg; and four grandchidren.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. R. Thomas Fralin Jr. will officiate.
