Ronald G. Barnett

Mr. Ronald G. Barnett of Adamstown, Md. died Monday, February 12, 2007 at Washington Hospital Center.
Born August 17, 1930 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, he was the son of Spencer Cone and Lois Allison Barnett. Married in 1953, he was the husband of Caryl Dauber Barnett.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He worked as an electrician for Daubers, Inc. for 30 years.
He loved his family and enjoyed gathering them together for barbeques and crab feasts.
He was devoted to his Lord and served him at church, in the Emmaus community, and Kairos prison ministry. He also supported a ministry for orphans in Uganda.
Surviving besides his wife are five chilren. Ron Barnett, Jr. and wife Delores, James Barnett and wife Shelley, Diana Barnett, Patty Rogers and William Barnett and wife Mary. Ten grandchildren; Jamie Smith, Rebecca Rogers, Jennifer Arias, Robert Barnett, Justin Rogers, Jessica Barnett, Jeffrey Rogers, Kristen Barnett, Toni Barnett and Brandon Barnett. Two great grand children; Andrew Rogers and Dennis Smith, III.

Services: There will be a viewing at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 17, 2007 followed by the funeral at 1:00 PM at Buckeystown United Methodist Church, 3440 Buckeystown Pike, Buckeystown,. with Rev. Linda Healy officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Amazing Grace Christian Fellowship, Inc., Buckeystown UMC or Millian Memorial UMC organ fund.
