Ruben E. {Gene} Guenthner

Mr. Ruben E. Gene Guenthner, 72, of Frederick, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rebecca Andrews Guenthner.
Born Nov. 13, 1937, in North Platte, Neb., he was the son of the late Ruben H. and Genieve Fitch Guenthner.
Gene enjoyed fishing, woodworking and working on cars.
He is survived by his children, Donna Fuqua and husband, Charles of Derwood, Patricia Siegrist and husband, Louis, of Bethesda, Thomas E. Guenthner and wife, Connie, of Gaithersburg, and Scott L. Guenthner and wife, Tammy, of Myersville; stepchildren, Vicky Dawn McElroy of Florida, Edward Scott Frazier of West Virginia and Thomas Charles Frazier of Frederick; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Jerry D. Guenthner of Virginia and Jerome Guenthner of Dover, Del.; and a sister, Shirley of Boulder, Colo.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Frazier.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services:
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
