Ruth M. Sayler
Born in Westminster, MD on May 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Ralph R. and Sadie M. Snyder. She graduated from Littlestown (PA) High School in 1944.
She was known for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor that never diminished. Her pleasure in spending time with her family brought her much laughter and joy.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Small of Thurmont; granddaughter, Melanie Small and her husband Greg DeKoenigsberg of Durham, NC; grandson, Mark Small and his partner Kimberly Constantine of Rocky Ridge, MD; and great-grandsons, Jacob Small of Rocky Ridge and Joshua Small of Lakewood, CO.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William R. Snyder of Tampa, FL.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Stauffer Funeral Home, Thurmont, MD.
There will be no funeral service and interment will be private.
