Ruth B. Truitt

Mrs. Ruth B. Truitt, 88, of Brunswick died on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Roy Lee Truitt who died in1983.

Born on July 28, 1918, in Shawano, WI she was the daughter of the late Herman C. and Martha Luebker Mueller. She was a machine operator for the Hartz Sewing Factory in Frederick. Ruth enjoyed making quilts but most of all treasured spending time with her family.

Surviving are 5 children: Roy L. Truitt, Jr and wife Judy of San Jose, CA, Richard C. Truitt of Brunswick, Roger W. Truitt and wife Catherine of Raleigh, NC, Roberta J. Pearl and husband Ronald and Ron M. Truitt and wife Tess of Charles Town, WV; 8 grandchildren: Eric Pearl and wife Rhonda, Jessica Truitt, Peggy Pearl Martin and husband Adam, Brandi DeGrange Stocks and husband Kyle, Lisa Truitt Jones and husband Brad, Rachel R. Truitt, Cody M. Truitt and Brandon J. Truitt; 4 great-grandchildren: Tyler Pearl, Bradley Pearl, Damon Jones and Nolan Wickless; 2 sisters, Carolyn Marlow and husband Fiedler of Waynesboro, PA and Paula Thornton of Culpepper, VA; and a brother, Walter Mueller of Bonduel, WI; and a godchild, Jackie Urban of Cleveland, OH; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Truitt was preceded in death by a daughter, Rene Truitt Butts, a brother, Harold Mueller and a sister, Elizabeth Seering.

Services: A memorial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 13, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick with Rev. Tom Fralin officiating.

Interment will be private.
