Sandra Lee Brown

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Lee Brown on May 15, 2026, at the age of 68. She was born on October 27, 1957, to Mary Ruth Montoya and Bobby Lee Brown in Florence, Colorado.

After graduating from nursing school in Colorado, Sandra went on to have successful nursing career, working in the ER to end it in a nursing home in Washington D.C.

Sandra spent most of her career working as an MDS Coordinator in several nursing homes caring for the elderly. When she wasn’t at work, she loved spending time with her children and would plan fun trips to take every year. All who knew her will remember a stubborn, caring, kind, sense of humor, and above all loving. She gave everything when she had nothing. Her greatest career was being a mother to all who knew her. She was the most giving and humble person you could ever meet. With everyone she knew, she didn’t have friends she had family. Her love for helping others before herself was the most courageous and humble part of her. She gave love even when there was no love being given back. She is one of the strongest people, from surviving breast cancer to later her having a stroke, the will to fight never left her.

Sandra was never married but is survived by her children, Jeremy, Katrina, Jessica, James, and Joshua. She is also survived by her sister Kat, brother Pete, brother Rick, grandchildren Izybella, Serenity, Antonello, Azyza, Wyatt, Landyn, Jordan, Dante, Colton, Mathew, and Daniel.

A celebration of life will be held on June 7th, 2026, at 1pm, at Jessica Kline’s home, located at 12905 Liberty Road, Union Bridge, MD 21791. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Jessica at (240) 215-7683.
