Sharon Elizabeth Winkler

Sharon Elizabeth Freas Winkler, 55, of Sykesville, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 11, 2023.

She was the loving wife of Brad Winkler and loving mother of John Bradley Winkler. She was the daughter of the late John R and Kathleen Freas. She is survived by brothers, Paul and wife Katie, Richard and wife Carolyn, as well as many aunts, uncles, in laws, nieces, nephews and an amazing network of friends.

She was a graduate of South Carroll High School and was a financial analyst for CMMS for her entire career.

Sharon lived every day to the fullest, the highlights of her life were family functions, trips with friends, and her soft ball teams because “every day was a party”. 

A Memorial gathering will be held on November 21, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Stauffers Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd. Mount Airy, MD 21771. There will be a celebration ”Sharon style party” at a later date.
