Sheila Puglisi

Sheila C. Puglisi , 84, of Germantown, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Wilson Healthcare Center in Gaithersburg, MD.

Born on September 17, 1937, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Maurice James Horan and Ruth-Elizabeth (Smith) Horan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond S. Puglisi; children, Ann Puglisi Story (Austin), Mary Ann FitzGerald, Jeanmarie Puglisi (Tom Ward), Ruth-Elizabeth Canada (David) and Terrence Puglisi (Mary Jo); grandchildren  Diane Hudson (David), Karen Lowe (Michael), Brian FitzGerald (Jessica), Joyce Metzger (Christopher), Jill Somers (Jonathan), David Canada Jr., Margaret Puglisi, Anthony Puglisi, Catherine Puglisi and Joanna Puglisi; great-granchildren, Alexis Lowe, Jamie Lowe, Kelly Hudson, Leo Metzger, Rylee FitzGerald, Owen FitzGerald, Kennedy Hudson, Jackson Metzger, Avery FitzGerald, Jonathan Somers, and Cambri Canada

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Mother Seton Parish, 19951 Father Hurley Blvd. in Germantown, MD.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am. Burial will follow mass at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ann’s Infant & Maternity Home. 4901 Eastern Avenue NE, Hyattsville MD 20782.

Those attending services are encouraged to wear pink in remembrance of Sheila, it was her favorite color.
