Sherry J. McMahon

Sherry Jean McMahon, 72, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Kline Hospice in Mount Airy, MD. She was the wife of John McMahon for 50 years.

Born on July 24, 1953, in Azle,TX, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Arnold) Gardner.

She loved to Sew, her musicals, and her friends and family.

In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her children, John McMahon V (Son), Amber McMahon (Daughter) Steve Gardner (Brother).

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

A celebration of Sherry's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
