Shirley Anne Norcross

Shirley Anne Norcross, 86, of Frederick, MD, formerly of CT passed from this life on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Homewood at Crumland Farms in Frederick, MD.

Born on November 26, 1936, in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William J. Brownlee and Anne (Balmer) Brownlee.

She attended the Newark College of Engineering, as well as a Secretarial College. She worked in many fields over her life, but she was most known for being a caregiver and homemaker. Nurturing her family brought her great joy. When her children got older, she started working as a secretary again.

Shirley was a member of a garden club and a church committee, she enjoyed gardening and flowers. She also enjoyed painting.

She is survived by her children; Pamela Malagari (Christopher), and Stephen Norcross. Grandchildren; Nick Malagari, Katie Malagari, Rachel Dufour (Jillian), Collin Norcross, and Charlott Norcross, great-great-grandchildren; Jackson, Tenley and Hines.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband William Norcross, and her son Gregory J. Norcross.

A celebration of Shirley's life journey will take place at a later date.
