Steven E. Shifler

Steven E. Shifler, 64, of Hagerstown, MD passed from this life to receive his great reward on December 7, 2024 at Doey's House.

Born on October 5, 1960, in Hagerstown, MD he was the son of Charles T. Shifler and Blanche M. (Overcash) Shifler of Boonsboro, MD.

He was a 1978 Boonsboro High School graduate. Steve and his wife formally managed and owned Hub City Liquors at South End Shopping Center in Hagerstown. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Washington County Sportsmen Club. 

Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Shifler, father, Charles T. Shifler and mother, Blanche M. Shifler.

 He is survived by his beloved dog Carson, daughter, Amanda Shifler, granddaughter, Shaylynn Beauford both of Hagerstown; brother, Michael Shifler and wife Beth of Boonsboro, sister, Karin Shifler-Hartman of Boonsboro and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD. A funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday, December 17 at 10 am at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home. Final resting ceremonies will take place at the Boonsboro Cemetery.
