Susan Jane "Suzie" Dewees, 56, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Dove Hospice House in Westminster, MD
Born on January 7, 1961, in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Clem and Frances V. (Stambaugh) Clem.
She graduated from Catoctin High School in 1979.
She worked as an administrative assistant, most recently for Rentals Unlimited for the last 5 years.
She loved photography, riding motorcycles, vacationing in the Florida Keys and Myrtle Beach and loved her dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gary Lee Dewees, brother, Terry W. Clem, sister in law, Karen Nash and her husband, Chuck and will be missed greatly by her faithful companions, Daisy, Joey, Charlie, Hemi and Snickers.
She is predeceased by her brother, Tony C. Clem, and sister, Linda Clem.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD.
Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Karin Albaugh will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the S.P.C.A.
