T. Austin Miller

Thomas Austin Miller, 42 years old, of Yarrowsburg, MD, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Meritus Medical Center from a sudden ischemic stroke.

Born on March 20, 1983 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Gerald Thomas Miller, Jr. and Linda D. Miller of Yarrowsburg.

Austin was a field foreman for R.W. Warner and had worked for them for 20 1/2 years.

Austin loved hunting everything from whitetail deer and waterfowl to morel mushrooms. In general, he loved nature and the great outdoors. He was constantly hunting with his companion, Gauge, his brother and friends.

He will be sorely missed by his mom and dad; brother, Tim Miller and his wife, Ikeu and nieces, Allison and Alexandra, all of Sharpsburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Brownsville Church of the Brethren in Knoxville with Rev. Calvin Park will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following services on Friday at the church.
