Tammy L. Dutrow

Tammy Lynn Dutrow, age 60, of Thurmont, MD went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Born on September 9, 1965, she was the daughter of Betty (Cool) Rice and the late Harold Stanley Rice.

In 1983, Tammy graduated from Catoctin High School. She worked for almost forty years at Weinschel Corporation as a Team Leader. Tammy was a devoted child of God and attended Weller UMC.

Tammy was an avid sports fan following the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. Tammy enjoyed collecting Winnie the Pooh Memorabilia.

In addition to her mother, Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Eric Dutrow; her sons, Zachary Dutrow and Daniel Dutrow; sister, Brenda White; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Peach and Bonnie Shaffer, who helped her through her battle with leukemia.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Weller United Methodist Church, 101 Altamont Avenue in Thurmont. Pastor Mark Eyler will officiate. Burial will be held at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
