Mrs. Teresa L. Ward, 66, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late David K. Ward who died in 1997.
Born on May 27, 1950 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late William and Lola Katherine Lapole Harper.
Teresa was an outgoing person, putting the needs of others first and thus worked as a care giver. She was an active member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church for more than 30 years and volunteered for the American Red Cross for 10 years.
She is survived by her son, Alan K. Ward of Frederick; two sisters: Tina Harper of Boonsboro and Denise Guyer and husband John of Hagerstown
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on ,Tuesday, July 12 ,2016 at Flint Hill United Methodist Church, 2732 Park Mills Road, Adamstown with her pastor, Rev. Bob Ruggieri officiating. Interment will be private.
