Teresa Wilcom

Teresa Lynn Wilcom (Shultz), of Frederick, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 10, 2025 at the age of 59.

Born February 25, 1966, in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the Virginia Lynn May and Carroll Edwin Shultz and stepfather Joe May. Teresa was a devoted wife to David Wilcom, for 13 years.

Teresa was a very smart talented woman who loved to sew and read. You could always find her watching a murder mystery on her phone because she couldn’t stand to watch the television. She loved the outdoors and wildlife and being with her cats Buddy, Gabby and Kiki. Teresa lived in South Dakota for many years and loved getting snow. She wanted everyone to not just learn something but to also know and understand the facts. She always wanted to fit in with the crowd.

Teresa is survived by her half-brother Joe May I (Fay May), son Curtis L. West Jr. (Jamie West), stepchildren David Wilcom Jr. (Ashley Daughtery), Nicole Wilcom (Imani Fielder) grandchildren CJ West and Avery West, step grandchildren Chaz Daughtery, Markis Wilcom, Jordan Wilcom and Maurice Hawkins, cousin Lori Carey Garner (Charlier Garner) and many more family and friends.

She was predeceased by her mother Virginia Lynn May, father Carroll Edwin Shultz, stepfather Joe May, brother Danny May, her uncle Mehrl W. Shultz Jr. and her Aunt Crisann.

Services and interment will be private.
