Theothong Khanthanou

Theothong Khanthanou passed away on February 13, 2026. She was born in Laos and carried her heritage, strength, and values with her throughout her life.

She was the beloved wife of Sakoun Khanthanou, and a devoted mother to Sandy (Nhing) and her partner Burl, and Danny (Nui) and his partner Cynthia. She was a cherished grandmother to Robert, Steven, Riley, Charlie, Tori and her partner John, bringing her great joy and pride.

She will be remembered as a deeply loving and caring woman whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. Her life was a testament to resilience, devotion to family, and quiet strength. She had a gentle spirit with a giving heart and strong willingness to help anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and loved ones, who will continue to carry forward the love and lessons she shared.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 20th starting at 10 am, at Stauffer Funeral Home, located at 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick MD, 21702, with a Buddhist Monk ceremony and cremation to follow.
