Thomas Beavers

Thomas (Tom) Beavers, 84, of New Market, Maryland passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, May 11, 2026.

Tom was born in Newhall, WV. He is the son of the late James Beavers and Bertha (Hess) Beavers. He was the husband of the late Linda (Covell) Beavers, of 47 years.

Tom graduated from Big Creek High School in War, WV , in 1961, and attended trade school to become a welder. He moved to Maryland and became a welder for over 40 years. After retirement, he was able to enjoy working around the house in the yard and the garden. He enjoyed sitting on the front porch enjoying the view and hanging out with his dogs. He also enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Commanders.

Tom is survived by his son, Eric, of International Falls, Minnesota; and daughter, Tessa (Pat) Gordon of Frederick, Maryland; and grandchild, Daniel Beavers. Also survived by siblings, Ronald Beavers (Walkersville) and Patricia Lloyd (Mount Airy).

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick. Graveside services for both Thomas and Linda Beavers will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
