Thomas Fath

Thomas Ellick Fath, 88, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in his home.

Born on June 17, 1937, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Albert James Fath and Villa G. (Ellick) Fath.

He attended Benevola United Methodist Church.

Tom was a bricklayer by trade. He was self-employed as a concrete contractor, and owned a carpentry, as well as a plumbing business.

He was truly dedicated to his wife and family. Always making time to be there when help was needed. In retirement, Tom enjoyed being outdoors doing various projects and maintaining the Fath Homestead that he and Dorothy established.

PapPap had great joy spending time and making memories with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, who he was happily married to for 68 years, Dorothy Ann Fath, son Randy Fath and wife, Donna, and daughter Robin Walsh. He is also survived by his grandchildren James Walsh, Cara Walsh, Jessica (Fath) Taylor and husband Spencer, and Tyler Fath and wife Kathleen. Great-grandchildren Jaron, Kasey, Kolton, Jackson, and Lincoln.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his youngest granddaughter, Kacie LeAnn Fath.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.

Funeral services are private for the family.
