Thomas W. Phillips

Tom was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1937. He attended McDonogh High School and graduated from MIT with a degree in Electronics Engineering. Most of his career was spent working for the Federal Communications Commission in Columbia, Maryland.

He was a loving husband, and father to 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren, who all adored his wonderful sense of humor.

His favorite hobbies included making his own home videos and slides, reading about history, planting vegetables in his garden, and splitting wood for his wood stove. He also enjoyed observing the planets through his homemade telescope and traveling throughout North America and Europe to learn about different cultures.
