Timothy Wayne Castle, 58, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Born on November 28, 1966, in Boonsboro, he was the beloved son of the late Gerald and Goldie Castle.
A lifelong resident of Boonsboro, Tim built a meaningful and successful life with his hands, his heart, and his unwavering work ethic. He first owned and operated his own auto body then later, alongside his wife, channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into a thriving career as a real estate investor.
Tim was a devoted husband to the love of his life, and high school sweetheart, Sandi Castle. He was a proud father to Alexa Damuth (and her husband, Taylor Damuth), Tyler Castle (his girlfriend, Michaela Altland), Jacob Castle, and Taylor Castle. He loved his new role as “Pap” to his cherished grandchildren, Brooks Damuth (3), Rhett Castle (2), and Camilla Damuth (1). Every moment spent with them was a treasure and they absolutely adored him.
He shared a deep bond with his surviving sister, Teresa Castle Reiff and her husband, James Reiff. He has two surviving brothers, Terry Castle and Dale Castle; and one late brother, Gerald “Bunny” Castle. Tim was a social butterfly and leaves behind numerous friends. His love extended not only to his family and friends but also to his faithful companions, his dogs, Remi and Roni. Remi, his black German shepherd, was always by his side.
Tim’s zest for life was undeniable. Whether he was out hunting, behind the wheel of a sports car, or racing alongside his sons, he lived life to the fullest. His undeniable sense of humor and his love for his family left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.
There are not enough words to capture his life and the legacy he left behind. He was truly one of a kind-hardworking, always joking, incredibly loving and full of life. His legacy lives on in his family and especially within his children and grandchildren. His absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him.
“Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.”
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Tim’s honor, to the Washington County Humane Society. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at BastStaufferFuneralHome.com.
