Timothy (Pappap) Wayne Griffith, Sr.

Timothy (Pappap) Wayne Griffith, Sr., 59, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Meritus Health Care Center in Hagerstown, Maryland. He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou Griffith.

Born on August 15, 1965, in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Elmer Theodore Griffith, Sr. and Jean (Rowe) Griffith.

Pappap enjoyed spending time with his son going to the Mason-Dixon Drag Strip and tractor pulls. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and loved spending with his family and friends. Pappap was a member of the Post #10 American Legion, Boonsboro, MD.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Timothy Wayne Griffith, Jr., two grandchildren, Destinie Sari Griffith, Gerald Timothy Griffith; siblings Nancy Lapole, Rose Shoop, Robert Griffith, Sr., John Griffith and Scott Griffith and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Elmer Theodore Griffith, Jr., Eugene Griffith, Sr. and niece Jeannie Griffith.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A., 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland where a celebration of Pappap's life journey will take place at 3:00 pm. Pastor Tim Fisher will officiate. Interment will be private.
