Tina Marie Beachley

Tina Marie Beachley, 66, of Point of Rocks, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Frederick Health Hospital. She was married for 38 years to Gene E. Beachley. 

Born on August 22, 1956, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Irvin and Mildred Ann (Lamm) Legg.

Tina was a 1973 graduate from Brunswick High School. She spent over 20 years with the Frederick County Public Schools in various capacities then retired from working at Thomas Johnson High School. She was a Sergeant with Carroll Manor Volunteer Fire and Rescue in Adamstown. Tina was a member of Jefferson Missionary Baptist Church for over 30 years. She was blessed with a granddaughter, Luisa, who meant the world to her. They spent a lot of time together. 

In addition to her husband, Gene, she is survived by her daughter, Kandi M. Hitaffer and fiance, David Stallings, of Martinsburg, WV; her son, S. Lee Beachley and wife, Patty, of Walkersville; siblings, Sherry Hartman and husband, Edward, and Bret Legg and wife, Anna, all of Spencer, VA, Nita Webb and husband, Don, of Republic, Missouri and Joe Legg and wife, Brenda, of Petersville, MD; her granddaughter, Luisa Marie Beachley; and her emotional support dog, Moo Moo. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Irvin Legg, II. 

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. for viewing on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Jefferson Missionary Baptist Church, 4802 Broad Run Road, in Jefferson. 

A celebration of Tina's life journey will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the church. Pastors Brian Bowers and Edward Hartman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery in Point of Rocks, Maryland. Please join the family immediately following burial at the church for food and fellowship. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Allen, Dave Stallings, Bret Legg, Matt Legg, Joey Longwell, and Joe Legg.
