Tracy Allen Zavona

Tracy Allen Zavona, 63, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Born on June 12, 1963, in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of Barbara (Haines) Zavona of Frederick, MD and the late William Francis "Bill" Zavona.

Tracy was a 1981 graduate of Linganore High School. After graduation he started his bar tending career. Tracy took over the lawn care and helped fix anything around the house to help his mother after his father passed away in 2015. He continued helping his mother with everything that was needed done until his health declined after triple heart bypass surgery and he never fully recovered. Tracy's favorite time of year was Christmas and would jokingly say that Christmas with his mom was the "quiet one" and Christmas with his cousins was the "loud one".

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his uncle Stephen Haines (Susan) and six cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

A celebration of Tracy's life journey will take place at 10 am Friday, July 31 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, Frederick.

Interment will be at Taylorsville United Methodist Cemetery in Mount Airy, MD.
