Vicki Lynn Nellis

Vicki Lynn Nellis, 49, of Frederick, Maryland, passed suddenly from this life on Thursday, December 4, 2025. She was the loving wife of Michael R. Nellis. They were married for 25 years.

Born on December 31, 1975, in Beaver, PA, she was the daughter of Wayne Seamans and Linda Lee (Ball) Seamans of Freedom, PA.

Vicki and Mike moved to Frederick in 2007 where she became active in the community and was a co-leader for a local GirlScouts troop.

She was currently an administrative assistant at Linganore High School for the last few years. She loved her job and enjoyed interacting with the students.

Above all else, Vicki was a loving Mom and Mamaw and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Daniel Seamans, and Elizabeth Nellis; three grandchildren, Illiana, Rose, and Cattleya; and numerous additional family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.

Additionally, the family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30 am on Thursday, December 11, from the funeral home chapel with a celebration of Vicki's life journey to begin at 9:30 am.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD.
