Vincent Amatucci

Vincent Edward Amatucci, 52 of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 5, 2021.

Vincent was born on July 13, 1969, in Vincenza, Italy, he was the son of Samuel Amatucci and Margherita (Sarno) Amatucci. He graduated from University of Maryland in 1991 and was employed as a Senior Unified Communications Engineer at Venable, LLP in Baltimore, Md. Vincent was a member of the Knights of Columbus, (Council 6793)

Vincent was a modest and selfless man of few words. He showed the utmost level of responsibility in his life.  Whether it be caring for his children, his pets, his family or his job, he cared deeply and always strived to do the right thing for everyone.   Vince was an animal lover, which makes sense because animals love unconditionally, and he loved them back just the same.  Vincent enjoyed spending time with his children and his dog Gizmo, watching movies, and playing video games.

He is survived by his mother, Margherita Amatucci, father Samuel Amatucci, sister Connie Murphy, daughter Isabella Amatucci, son Nico Amatucci, mother of his children Melinda Amatucci, and nephew and niece Nathan Murphy and Elaina Murphy.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Consolata Amatucci, and Severino Sarno.  Uncles, Thomas Amatucci and Guy Amatucci, and cousin Tina Amatucci.

Services and burial will be held at 2pm, Friday December 17th at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Md.  Father Mike of St. Michaels in Poplar Springs, Md. will officiate.  A celebration of Vincent’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
