Virginia (Ginny) Louise Ahalt, age 84 of Brunswick, MD and Wagener, SC died on August 11, 2023 at Citizen's Care and Rehab, Frederick, MD surrounded for days leading up to her passing by her loved ones. She was born on June 26, 1939 in Frederick, MD to the late Lester E. and Florence W. Icenrode Boleyn.

Ginny was a faithful woman never wavering in her beliefs. She was a member of Dickerson UMC, then moving to South Carolina became a member of Wagener UMC. More recently she was attending New Hope UMC in Brunswick where she enjoyed Bible Study and friendships amongst the women's group. She was praised for her knowledge of the Bible and what she added to discussion.

Ginny graduated from Middletown High School and attended Nursing school after graduation. She worked for many years caring for the elderly as a CNA at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, MD. She then did private duty with two special souls until they passed on. Her last work days were spent tending to the housekeeping duties of her home church in Wagener, SC where she and her late husband, Raymond retired almost 20 years ago.

Ginny enjoyed quilting, crocheting, reading and journaling and keeping up with family and friends on Facebook. She taught herself in her 70's how to use a laptop computer and do emails. Ginny loved gardening but more so raising flowers of all kinds including her cherished African Violets. In her younger days, Ginny enjoyed hunting squirrel with her .410 and fishing for her favorite meal, catfish! She also loved animals and was constantly concerned with the inhumane treatment of all creatures. Her beloved pup, Yappie, now resides with her son and daughter-in-law.

In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her husband Raymond T. Ahalt, Jr., her sisters, Blanche L. Boleyn and Naomi M. Stovall, her brothers-in-law Larry E. Ahalt and Ronald Guthrie and her sister-in-law Evelyn M. Cook.

Ginny leaves behind a loving family including daughters Terry A. Alger (Kenny) of Manchester, MD and Tina L. Burns (Steve) of Damascus, MD, sons Timothy W. Ahalt (Regina) of Brunswick, MD and Andrew L. Ahalt (Michelle) of Knoxville, MD, beloved sister of Lester E. Boleyn, III and Esther of Hagerstown and Mary C. Guthrie (John) of Hagerstown, adored sister-in-law of Wayne & Nora Ahalt of Boonsboro, MD and Tony & Shirley Ahalt of Dickerson, MD. She was grandmother to Bradley (Stephanie), Brandy (Jamie), Brendan, Andrew (Alexis), Christian (Brittany), Cameron and Madison and great grandmother to Madilyn, Regan, Jackson, Mason, Lena, Levi, Stevie, AJ, Everett, and Sophie.
