Walter Eugene Line

Walter Eugene "Tiny" Line, 82, of Boonsboro, passed from this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Doey's House in Hagerstown. 

Born on December 31, 1940, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Floyd E. and Hilda Viola (Ridenour) Line.

He graduated from Boonsboro High School. Tiny worked on the Toms Farm before he was employed by Breakstone Foods and retired with the Maryland State Highway Administration. 

Tiny enjoyed farm life and working with equipment and the livestock. 

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Tina Line of Boonsboro; his brothers and sisters, Elmer Paul Line and Harold F. Line both of Hagerstown, David C. Line of Tyler, Texas, Russell B. Line of Smithsburg, Mary Jane Blickenstaff of Boonsboro, and Debbie K. Ridenour of Hagerstown; also surviving are many nieces and nephews, including Donald W. Younker and wife, Angela, of Williamsport. 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. 

A celebration of Walter's life journey will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 3rd at the funeral home in Boonsboro. Rev. Suzanne Jones will officiate. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, Washington County Humane Society, or to the Boonsboro Volunteer Ambulance Company.
