Wanda Burdette

Wanda Burdette, 74, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. She was the wife of the late Donald Burdette.

Born on November 26, 1951, in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Nora (Baily) Wright.

She is survived by daughter, Sandra Mehring and her husband Eddie, and their three children, Vicki Mehring, Jennifer Shecter and her husband Mike and Bradley Mehring; great-grandson Dallas Smith; three brothers, Roy Wright and wife Nancy, Randy Wright and wife Linda and Marvin Wright and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son John Moore, Jr.

A celebration of Wanda's life journey will take place at a later date.
