Wayne Michael Kline Sr, 76, of Boonsboro, Maryland passed away on February 27, at his home. Born in Hagerstown, Maryland on May 29, 1949. He was the son of the late Beulah Kline and the late Calvin and Mary Kline.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond, Floyd, Glenn, Nelson, Ronald, and Harry Kline, and one sister, Darlene Patmore. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Robertson, granddaughter Kacie Fath, and grandson Harley Kline.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gloria Kline and his daughter Donna Fath and husband Randy, Wayne Kline Jr. and wife Mary and Todd Kline. He is also survived by grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Jessica Taylor, Tyler Fath, Richard Robertson, Ryan Robertson, Peyton Hixon, Meghan Feng, Lauren Leather, Joseph Kline, Michelle Carter, Michael Kline, and Elizabeth Kline. He is survived by nine great-grandchildren, including, Jaron Franks, Kasey Fath, Kolton Fath, Jackson Taylor, and Lincoln Taylor. And he is also survived by a special niece, Lynn Hartle, a cousin (sister) Tessa Buchanan, and a dear family friend, Cathy Welty, as well as, many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
Wayne was an active member of the Boonsboro Family Worship Center where he began a food bank ministry, Kacie’s Place, naming it in memory of his granddaughter, Kacie Fath. His goal was to help people in need. He had a generous spirit and enjoyed sharing with others. Wayne had a great sense of humor and a big heart full of love.
Previously, he was the area manager for Service Master, and he worked with his brother Floyd, in the roofing business. In his retirement years, he enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Boonsboro Family Worship Center on March 2 at 11:00am. A visitation with the family will occur one hour before the celebration service from 10:00-11:00.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to Kacie’s Place, 7605 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland.
