Wesley Mumm

Mr. Wesley James Mumm, 47, of Thurmont, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 , at Georgetown University Hospital .
He was the loving husband of Tina M. Mumm.
Born on December 11, 1963 , in Anaheim , CA. he was the son of Delores Finnegan Mumm Craig and her husband Jay of Easton and the late Larry Dean Mumm.
He was a 1987 graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis , MD.
He retired from the Navy as full Commander. He worked as a Senior Chartered Financial Consultant with Ameriprise Financial. He was a member of Elias Evangelical Lutheran Church , Emmitsburg, where he served as Council President.
Also surviving are two children, Arielle Elizabeth Mumm and Damian Sanders-Baron, both of Thurmont; one sister, Elizabeth Edna Robinson and her daughter Sarah Marie Robinson; father- and mother-in-law Wayne E. Sanders and Terry Todd; brother-in-law David Sanders and his children, Crystal and Amber; brother-in-law Troy Sanders and his wife Ann; sister-in-law Dana Hance and her husband Robert and their children, Bobby and Brian; stepbrother Bryan Craig; stepsister Jaylene Craig Wikoff and families.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday April 26, at the Stauffer Funeral Home P.A., 104 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, at Elias Evangelical Lutheran Church , 100 W. North Avenue , Emmitsburg , MD , 21727 . Pastor Jon R. Greenstone will officiate. Interment will follow in Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery .
