Mr. Wilbert Booth, Jr., 72 of Frederick, MD, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of the late Betty Sue Booth who passed away in 2002.
Born August 3, 1936 in Maybeury, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Wilbert Dudley and Edith H. Thore Booth.
Wilbert was an electrician for 40 years retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Eagles Aeire #1067. He enjoyed bowling and working on cars.
He is survived by three daughters Linda Almeida, Elizabeth Macdonald, Wilma Bowles and husband Rick, three sons Ricky Booth, Tommy Booth and wife Diana and Dewayne Booth and wife Lisa all of Frederick, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a sister Mary Cole of Germantown. He is also survived by his sister-in-law and caregiver Charlotte Britt.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor J. D. Hyman officiating.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
