William Dale Haller

William Dale Haller, 76, of Brunswick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at his home in Brunswick, MD. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Haller of 56 years.

Born on July 15, 1950, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late William Lawrence Haller and Shirley Clementine (Snoots) Haller.

A graduate at Brunswick High school (class of 1968), he pursued a career in auto mechanics that became a passion. After an extensive 43 year career as an auto mechanic on the ground equipment at Dulles International Airport, and later at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, he retired in 2013. After he retired, he loved spending his days tinkering in his garage, listening to old country music, watching old western movies, as well as watching some football. More than anything he loved his life as a devoted husband and father. But the title that he cherished the most was Pappy to his two grandsons that he thought hung the moon as well as to his favorite grand-dog Nugget!

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kristy Reckley, grandsons Jody Dale (JD) Reckley and Kolby Reckley, sisters Dawn Bradley, Cathie Roclkey ( and husband Rick), and Debbie Noguera, mother-in-law Jean Corbin, sister-in-law Donna Fink (and husband Robbie), and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would also like to recognize ex son-in-law Joseph Reckley..

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Brunswick), 1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick, MD where a celebration of William's life journey will take place at 11 am.

Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.
