William Howard Jones, III

William Howard Jones III, 54, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at his home in Frederick, MD.  He was the husband of Charlene Jones.

Born on October 9, 1968, in Takoma Park, MD he was the son of William "Bill" Jones and Mary Ellen Rogers.

BJ graduated from Walkersville High School and served in the U.S Army, Airborne/Ranger, Ft. Bragg, NC.  BJ loved his heavy metal music, his Washington Redskins, and the dragstrip at 75-80 in Monrovia.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his sister Connie Lynn Beall and husband Karl of FL, his father-in-law Charles Wentz of PA; brother-and-sister in laws Gary Wentz and Mila Wentz of MD as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Jones, and mother-in-law Shirley Wentz.

Services and interment will be private.
