William Kent, Sr.

Mr. William Wayne Kent, Sr., 61, of Frederick, died on Friday, April 1 ^st , 2011 at Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy. He is survived by his wife Nina Renee Walton - Kent.

Born on August 18 ^th , 1949 in Halifax County, VA, he was the son of the late William Albert Kent and Marjorie Fields Kent.

Mr. Kent was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving beside his wife are; one daughter, Tina Marjorie West of Richmond, VA, three sons; William Wayne Kent, Jr. Of Newport News, VA, William Wayne Kent, III and James Melvin Lloyd Kent, both of Frederick; sisters; Jean Anderson Faulkner and Wilhelmina Ballou, both of South Boston, VA; a brother Melvin C. Kent, Sr. Of Atlanta, GA. And a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 5 ^th , at 11:00 a.m. At the International Community Church, ( formerly Maranatha Church of God ) 123 Byte Dr., Frederick, with Rev. Debyii Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment with military honors on Wednesday, April 6 ^th , at 11:30 a.m. At Garrison Forest State Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
