William "Squeeky" Eugene Stewart

William Eugene "Squeeky" Stewart, 70, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Frederick Health Hospital.

Born on November 24, 1953, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Percy Stewart and Urusla Thompson Stewart.

He was a graduate of Frederick High School. Over the years Squeeky worked for several car dealerships including the local Saturn Dealership and Criswell as a car detailer. He also worked at Walmart and love working on and fixing cars.

Squeeky was a member of the Mountain City Elks Club #382 in Frederick.He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and helping them out.

He is survived by sister, Sheila Simms and husband Charles of Frederick; two daughters:, Theresea Jason and Bazarr Jackson and a granddaughter, Aira Jackson who lovingly called him Pop Pop. He was preceded in death by siblings: Donald Stewart, Ronald Stewart and Dorothy Stewart and his grandparents: John L. Thompson and Marcela Snowden Thompson, Herman L. Carter, Sr., Percy Stewart, Sr. and Mary Stewart. Squeeky will also be remembered by his close friends: Charles "Sonny" Lee and Percy "PJ" James as well as his friends at the Mountain City Lodge and numerous nieces and nephews as well as his uncle Bishop Merle Lyles.

The family will receive friends form 10-11 AM on Friday, June 21, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where a celebration of his life will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ernest Thomas officiating. Interment will be private.
