Ann Klingler

February 11, 1955 — January 27, 2020

Ann Marie Pasqual Klingler of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday,  January 27, 2020 at the age of 64.

Born on February 11, 1955 in Monticello, California, she was the eldest daughter of eleven of the late Dorothy (Susan) and Tony Pasqual. Becoming a mother early in life,  Ann showed great devotion to her five children and took loving pride in her family.

In addition to motherhood, Ann’s work ethic and dedication led her to accomplish her goals, including becoming college educated and a licensed holistic massage therapist. She co-owned the successful family-run Barnes Country Store of Mount Pleasant, MD for 15 years.

Ann was strong, outgoing and kind to everyone she met. Her brilliance will be remembered along with her unforgettable quick wit and infectious personality. She was driven by her profound love for her children.  Although the loss of her son, Christopher, left a void that could not be filled in life, we pray that in death they are reunited.

Ann is survived by her children, Erika Forney (Rick), Lauren Klingler, Susanna Klingler (Alistair Wintle), John Klingler (Kira); and their father John Klingler as well as her grandchildren, David, Christopher, Rebekah and Erik Forney; Lincoln and Alexander Klingler; her brothers, John Pasqual (Elaine) and Michael Pasqual (Angela); and her sisters, Patricia Sisson, Mary Boichot (Jeffrey), Donna Harker (Todd), Gina Krivda (Jerry), Elizabeth “Liffy” Fookes (Glenn), Christina Pasqual, Catherine “Kuey” Heffron (Christopher), and  Jennifer Brown (Jay).  She is also survived by 4 nieces and 14 nephews.

Ann is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Klingler in 1993.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2020 at St Timothy’s Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road in Walkersville, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12:00 pm at St Timothy’s Catholic Church officiated by Father Juan Vazquez-Rubio. Interment will be at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Cemetery, 9190 Church Street in Union Bridge, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ann’s memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness at nami.org., https://nami.org/Get-Involved/.Donate
