Beverly Bland
October 24, 1945 — March 15, 2020
Beverly Diane (Walker) Bland, affectionately known as “Aunt B” 74, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on March 15, 2020 at her home.
Born on October 24, 1945 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter and one of 14 children of the late Crittenden and Lena Walker. She worked at Geico in Montgomery County for several years.
She loved taking care of family and was a wonderful caregiver for those in the family that needed her.
She is survived by her two children, Jimmy Johnson and wife Barbara from Wilson, NC and Tina Johnson of Frederick, MD; two grandsons, Steven Bietzel of Germantown, MD and Cody Johnson of Frederick, MD;
two sisters, Sally Bolton of Germantown, MD and Peggy Neal of Rockville, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Aunt B will be sorely missed by her niece and nephew Susie and Bobby O’Brien, whom she lived with and lovingly took care of as they did her.
She dearly loved and will be missed by her beloved Chihuahua, Missy Jane, the two family cats, Daisy Mae and Boots and her granddog Boo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 11 of her siblings and her grandson, Jimmy Joe Johnson Jr.
