Such a warm hearted person, very contagious smile. I haven’t seen her in at least 5 years, but have known her since kindergarten. Really can’t believe it. She will be missed dearly. My dearest regards to the Shiben family.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Such a beautiful daughter, may God wrap his arms around you in the form of friends and family. Sending my hugs and prayers from a distance, as I have kids near this age, I can only imagine. God bless you!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Shiben family.
I remember Brittany fondly, back when the girls played soccer, she had a infectious smile, easy going nature and was truly a beautiful person, she will be dearly missed by all.
May God wrap his loving arms around her and give her comfort.
Another precious life taken by this insidious disease.
God rest her soul.

I cannot imagine your grief right now. There are no words to comfort you as you go through this tragedy. Know you have people in your corner sending you love and prayers. God has a plan for all of us and Brittany has fulfilled hers. She will be with you forever.
Love to you Alison

Dear Family of Brittany:
It saddened me greatly to learn of Brittany's sudden death. There are so many personal weaknesses we battle with due to our human frailties. Some battles we win. However the greatest battle that we engage in is the fight against mortality. How grateful we are to our loving Creator for giving us victory in this battle. Victory over death comes because God will restore life to those who have fallen asleep in death and there is a wonderful life in store for them. God promises to let the grave release those powerless in death (Isaiah 26:19). When life is restored to our loved ones, they will enjoy peaceful life in the Paradise that Jesus spoke of at Luke 23:42. It was not the desire of Brittany's heavenly Father for her to have a short earthly walk with Him by dying at such a young. For that reason there is life after death and Brittany will have the opportunity of living eternally. That thought is conveyed in the well known scripture at John 3:16. Brittany's death is so fresh, but as time goes by may your sadness be filled with the wonderful happy memories of joyful times spent together. Also, during quiet moments, meditating on God's promises will definitely bring you a measure of comfort. May you have peace.

No words can express the devastation of losing a loved one so young. It's probably been over a decade since I last saw Brittany, but I know she stayed the same kind, happy, loving girl I grew up with. We'll be thinking of you.
