Miss Brooke Renee Riggs, 2, of Keymar, MD, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 24, 2013.
Brooke was born June 16, 2011 in Frederick, MD., the daughter of Charles W., Jr. and Becky Miller Riggs.
Brooke enjoyed the outdoors, swinging and playing with her sister and her dog “Bear”. She lived a short life, but during that time she touched many lives.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Paige Riggs, her maternal grandmother Janice Miller of Milton, PA, her paternal grandfather Charles Riggs, Sr. and wife Pat of New Midway, and paternal grandmother Sharon Covell of Frederick. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather George Miller.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, July 29, from 2-4 and 7-9pm, where services will be held Tuesday, July 30, at 11:00 am with Pastor Laura Robeson and Pastor Jan Ports officiating.
Interment Haugh’s Church Cemetery.
