My prayers and love go out to you Darlene and your family. Carroll was a very special person to all that met him. Some of my fondest summer memories was spent with Carroll and his family when I was spending time with my grandparents. Times go back to church suppers at the little school house. He will be missed by many!!

We are so sorry for your loss.

I’m Free -
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free;
I took His hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
If my parting has left a void;
then fill it with remembered joy.
My life’s been full, I savored much;
good friends, good times,
a loved one’s touch.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me;
God wanted me now, He set me free.

Boy of boy is this a loss that can't be described. Loved this man so much. There aren't many in this life that are true givers. He was one on them. Treated all like his own kids or family no matter the circumstance. While we didn't see him too often except church events, occasional auctions when they could sneak away and reunions, it sure won't be the same without him. Prayers to all. Love you guys.

What a wonderful Uncle he was, he loved his family more than anything. God was waiting for him at the gate. Rest In Peace Uncle Carroll.

Sending much love to the Day family. I only met Mr. Day a handful of times but that was enough to know what a wonderful human being, father and grandfather he was. So many conversations had with his daughter, Carol, would surley confirm that. God has another angel.
