July 6, 1996 — July 26, 2014

Dale Kenneth Sanders, 18, born July 6, 1996 in Frederick, MD, passed away at home on July 26, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. After a 6 year battle with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Dale went from his earthly home and entered the eternal kingdom. Dale is survived by his parents, Nancy and Gregg; siblings, Kyle and Claudia; and sister-in-law, Kate. He has numerous family and friends.

Dale graduated from Tuscarora High School in 2014 with highest honors. He was a proud member of the marching band where he played trumpet, and the National Honor Society.  In December 2013 he earned the scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout. He loved Camp Sunrise, a camp for kids with cancer, and made sure everything in the summer was planned around camp. Dale excelled in school but especially loved Latin, history and math. He was accepted into Lebanon Valley College where he had planned to study actuarial science. Dale cheered for the Ravens and rooted for the Caps. He was always up for his favorite food, steak, and would eat it whenever possible.
