David L. [Louie] Webb

Mr. David L. Louie Webb, 61, of Martinsburg, WV, former long time resident of Frederick, died on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.

He is survived by his devoted, caring and loving wife of 20 years Linda (Fisher) Webb.

He was born on March 14, 1946 in Rockville, MD, son of Maggie L. (Frank) Webb of Thurmont and the late Arthur P. Webb, Sr.

Mr. Webb was a Sheet Metal Mechanic previously employed with Ft. Detrick for many years. He was a U.S. Marine and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of AMVETS Post #2 and the South Mountain Rod and Gun Club. Louie will be remembered as a very generous, caring person, devoted to his family and grandchildren.

Surviving beside his wife and mother are 1 son, Shannon K. Webb and wife Cheryl of Smithsburg; 1 daughter, Jennifer A. Korrell and husband Fleet of Berkley Springs, WV.; 3 grandchildren, Cody Korrell, McKayla Korrell and Rylie Webb; 9 brothers and sisters, Paul Webb of Kearneysville, WV, Ella Lee Kiley and husband Ron of Germantown, Bill Webb and wife Ronnie of Taneytown, Ralph Webb and wife Sandy of Tuscon, AZ, Bonnie Schultz and husband Mickey of Union Bridge, Debbie Kurz and husband Steve of Thurmont, Jane Wolfe and husband Milton of Thurmont, Jimmy Webb of Emmitsburg, Ruby Blickenstaff and husband Jerry of Thurmont. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Doris Webb.

Visitation: Family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Md., on Tuesday, August 7, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Services: Services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Md., on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m with Dr. Jerry A. Price officiating. Interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Korrell, Josh Rubis, Wesley Wolfe, Andy Wolfe, John Blickenstaff, Adam Blickenstaff and Allen Webb.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of MD, 1107 Kenilworth Dr, Suite 202, Baltimore, MD 21204.
