Dinelle Constantine

February 26, 1983 — May 26, 2016

Dinelle Tynisha Constantine, also lovingly known as Dee Dee, Din Din, Dee, Deeds, Bachac, and KD (Kid Dolphin), was born in Trinidad on February 26th, 1983 to Arlene Toussaint and Glenrick King. Dinelle’s educational foundation started in Trinidad until the age of 13 when she migrated to the United States. She continued at Magruda High School then proceeded to Morgan State University. We must say that Morgan State was not prepared for the infectious personality of DinDin, she had a crew of friends who were involved in all the Caribbean culture. When they could not afford to go home for the holidays, Dinelle would take them to her mom’s house every year. Dinelle was known for her big heart.

The family celebrated her marriage to Brandon Constantine on July 6, 2008 in Trinidad, in what appeared to be her fairytale ceremony. Two years later, she gave birth to her first child Justin Matthew. Justin was Dinelle’s "white on rice;" There was no Dinelle without Justin, they were inseparable. Dinelle, however, always dreamed of having a girl and in October 2015, she joyfully announced her pregnancy and later informed her family and friends that it was a girl. She delivered her bundle of joy, Zara Noelle, on May 18th 2016 and commented, " I have my boy, my girl, the dog, the house with the white picket fence… I am living the American Dream. Ritto!!"

Dinelle was always a people person, hence she chose a career field in human resources where she could motivate, train and educate her junior members. Dee Dee was always in charge of the team building initiatives for her company. If you wanted to have an event 3 years in advance… you could call Dinelle and have it all planned by month end. So much so… Zara’s Christening and 1st birthday have already been planned and available on Pinterest. If God did not call her too soon… today’s celebration of her life would have already been planned to the tee.

Dinelle had a strong love for children, family, and community. She loved entertaining, loved music by Machel Montano and Queen Bey. She had an infectious smile, and was considered a social butterfly… she was definitely the life of the party. She was funny and had a total love and respect for life. We all knew when the Toy’s R Us Christmas catalog arrived as it was accompanied by a mass email/text notification from Dinelle. She had deadlines, sent reminders and double checked everyone’s registry to make sure it was current. If you didn’t make a list… you got a side text or a phone call.

Dee Dee was actively involved in Justin’s school and was a classroom mom at St. John’s Catholic. She was committed to the educational development of not only Justin, but all the children she was privileged to interact with. Dinelle’s favorite holiday was Halloween, so it’s no surprise that she volunteered for the Halloween Committee. She made sure she rearranged her schedule to attend the school parade and every event/performance for Justin.

Dinelle is survived by her husband Brandon, son Justin, daughter Zara, mother Arlene, father Glenrick, step father Heston, sisters Sydney and Krystal, grandparents Blanche, Lennox, and Sylvia, in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
