Dear Family:
I know you do not remember me, however I was part of the family. I was married to Dorothy's brother, Charles, for many years. My daughters are Lynnette & Jennifer, your
cousins, and I wish to be among those who are offering sincere sympathy at this time.

Dorothy was a very special person in our lives. She was one of the kindest, most patient people I have ever known. Her life was one of happiness & sadness, and I do not remember ever hearing her complain. She was loved by her family and I am sure by those who were blessed to be her friends.

She is now having a reunion with her Mother, her sister Catherine, and her brother Chuck (which is what we called him). May God bless you all.

I spent many an hour at Aunt Dot's and Uncle Alvey's dairy farm as a child. The memories I have are of a wonderful, loving couple who opened their home to us whenever Dad and Mom wanted to visit. I loved being in Aunt Dot's kitchen as she cooked watching her bustle around. She was sweet, loving and had the patience of Job. The other memory I cherish was going to the dairy barn and watching Uncle Alvey and the boys milk the cows. I was in awe! These memories will be with me for the rest of my life and I will always treasure them. Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of a very special woman.

The Grandma I remember had an unconditional love like no other person on this earth! A strong 98 years with all her trials and tribulations is what made her so resilient. May she Rest In Peace ... love always, Diane
