Please accept my wishes for happy memories to all who held Dorothy precious. My husband is unable to respond to her death, as he has Lewey Body Dimentia in an advanced stage. The regard he held for Dorothy is why I remember how she helped with so much at Green Valley Elementary School while Tom was principal. Please know that Dorothy was special to Tom in those days.

I worked with Dorothy at Green Valley Elementary School. We became good friends in the process and enjoyed many girl’s lunches and dinners together. It was always a joy to have her in my classroom. The children and I loved her dearly. She brightened every day that I spent with her. I moved to Seattle 15 years ago but I still hold dear my memories of Dorothy. My condolences to her family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Dorothy was a great friend and co-worker at Green Valley Elementary School. Her heart was at big as she was, willing to help with any task at any time for anyone. We worked on a project together for school assembling a quilt for Peg Russell our retiring music teacher. Neither one of us really knew what we were doing. However, the project was a success! What a great time we had with that project! This is a memory I keep forever! She was quite a lady! Dorothy, I still remember when you and I took walks, talked and most importantly we laughed together, then we would have breakfast and coffee, what a beautiful way to begin the day. You were the happiest person I knew always positive and had an open mind with a smile on your face. You had nothing but unconditional love for everyone and yes, you were all about family! You helped me through a very difficult time in my life and for that I'm forever grateful. Thank you for being the most influential person I've ever met, for accepting me into your family, and for being someone that impacted my life and the lives of so many. You are forever in my heart and will never be forgotten. To the Humphrey family: My sincerest condolences for an incredible great loss. Wishing you peace to bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. Dorothy will remain in our hearts forever. Please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
