A fine gentleman and a very honest man to deal with. I'll miss him and his love for the Minneapolis Moline tractors.

Thank you for posting such a beautiful obituary and sharing with us the unusual and fascinating story of Mr. Nicholson, which brought back memories of the country life of Urbana that we knew not so long ago. My sincere condolences Carolyn, Gary and Mrs. Nicholson.

We are so sorry to learn of Earle's passing. I remember the good times showing Percheron horses with him, and how helpful he was in getting things set up and running. Thank you Earle.
Sending sympathy to Marie and his family.

Earl had a room adjunct my Father at Northampton. He was a delight to converse with and dearly loved his horses. A warm light has been removed from our lives. May God welcome you Earl.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of the hours I spent learning from Earle.
Marie, I know how your heart aches. The only advice I can offer is a response to someone who says they are sorry for your loss. Take a breath and believe in your heart when you respond "My loss is his gain."
